Biography & Research:
Dr. Hayes is Assistant Professor of Psychology at The Ohio State University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in neuropsychological assessment. The primary focus of her research is to identify neural circuits and neurobiological markers of negative outcomes following physical and psychological trauma, particularly traumatic brain injury (TBI) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). An important long-term goal of this research is to delineate the relationship between these trauma conditions and accelerated aging/neurodegenerative disease.
