Biography & Research: 

Dr. Agata Copani has nearly thirty years of experience in the field of AD. She was among the first researchers who demonstrated the link between loss of cell cycle control in adult nerve cells and the onset of neurodegeneration in AD. Part of her current work is devoted to discovery of new compounds able to arrest the neuronal cycle.
