Biography & Research:
Prof. David Tanne is a Professor of Neurology at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University and the director of the Stroke Center at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
He has completed his fellowship in stroke and cerebrovascular diseases during 1996-1998 at the Henry Ford Hospital and Health Sciences Center, Detroit Campus of Case Western University, Detroit, USA.
He serves as the chair of the scientific committee and as the secretary of the Israel Neurological Association. He is the editor of JINA, Journal of the Israel Neurological Association and on the editorial board of the journal Stroke.
Prof. Tanne has published over 200 scientific peer reviewed publications and his major areas of research are the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular disease and vascular cognitive impairment.
