Biography & Research:
Dr. A. Justin Thenmozhi is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India from 2007. Before this, she was working as a Lecturer for seven years from 2000 in Idhaya College for Women, Kumbakonam. Prior to this accomplishment, she started her education as a science graduate (B.Sc., Biochemistry) in DGGA College affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India, followed by she completed her M.Sc., and M.Phil., (Biochemistry) in Annamalai University. She pursued her doctorate from the same University. She is holding membership in various professional bodies. Now she is working in the field of Neuroscience particularly in Alzheimer’s disease and published 35 research papers in Peer reviewed journals and 6 book chapters. She is serving as a reviewer in various well known journals such as Brain Research, Neurochemical Research, Chemico-Biological Interactions etc.,. She received world best book award (3rd Place) for her book entitled “Food and Parkinson’s disease” by GOURMAND Cook Book Awards in 2017 under the category D9 Health and Nutrition Institutions. She has received “Outstanding Women achiever Award in 2016” from Venus International Foundation. She has received research grants from UGC and DST, New Delhi, India. Dr. Justin Thenmozhi organized and attended several International/National conferences and workshops. She is having strong research collaborations with researchers in Oman, Australia and USA.
