Biography & Research:
Kan Ding, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She obtained her M.D. in Peking Union Medical College in China and received a postdoctoral fellowship in Department of neuroscience and aging at University of Rochester. She completed her clinical training in Neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Her research interest is in cognitive comorbidity in traumatic brain injury and epilepsy. She has involved in several multicenter observation and interventional studies to understand the neuroplasticity after brain injury.
