Biography & Research:
Ana Šubic, MD, is a resident of neurology at University Medical Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a doctoral student of neuroscience at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She graduated at the Medical Faculty of Ljubljana in 2011. During 2008–2011 she was an editor of the Slovenian medical journal Medicinski razgledi. She received the university student award for research work entitled The Effect of Continuous Dopaminergic Stimulation with Ropinirole on Non-Motor Symptoms and Quality of Life in Patients with Parkinson's Disease. She has been a resident of neurology from 2013. From 2015 she has collaborated with Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, on epidemiological research of dementia and cerebrovascular disease. Her doctoral thesis focuses on impact of dementia on prevention and treatment of patients with ishemic stroke.
