Biography & Research:
Dr. Tatyana Sarycheva is a PhD student at the University of Eastern Finland in Kuopio. Her thesis investigates the use of antiepileptics and their association with adverse events in persons with Alzheimer’s disease.
She completed a degree in medicine in one of the best medical universities in Russia with a focus on cardiology, and a Clinical Research Master’s Degree in Health Sciences in 2017 at the Erasmus University Medical Centre in Rotterdam (the Netherlands) where she was granted a non-EEA Scholarship of Excellence. In 2017 she received the award for the best “Pharmacopislam” presentation at the 10th Nordic Pharmacopidemiology congress for the abstract of the first manuscript. Her first two manuscripts have been submitted to international peer-reviewed journals.
