Biography & Research:
Dr. Kay Deckers is a postdoctoral researcher in dementia risk reduction. As part of his PhD, he developed the ‘LIfestyle for BRAin health’ (LIBRA) score, a practical tool to assess someone’s potential for dementia prevention. He is currently coordinator of the MijnBreincoach project, a public health awareness campaign and accompanied MijnBreincoach app, to give middle-aged people from the general population insight into their own lifestyle in order to promote brain health in later life.
