Biography & Research:
Judith studied Medicine at the University of Dundee, Scotland, and began psychiatry training on the Maudsley Hospital rotation, London. She had doctoral Fellowship funding from the Welsh Clinical Academic Training scheme and the Wellcome Trust GW4-CAT scheme. Her PhD, undertaken at Cardiff University, was on genetics and magnetic resonance imaging in Alzheimer’s Disease, particularly manifestations of polygenic risk in grey matter and white matter microstructure. Her other interests include the clinical assessment and management of neurodegenerative disorders, improving physical health outcomes for people with neuropsychiatric illness and public involvement in research. She is currently a Higher Trainee (Resident) in Older Adult Psychiatry.
