Biography & Research:
After graduating from Stanford University and the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, I was trained in psychiatry at Columbia. Next, I stayed at Columbia to complete the ACGME-accredited Statewide Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship. In July 2020 I began the NIMH T32 Research Fellowship in Late-Life Neuropsychiatry and have also taken a position as an attending psychiatrist for a new clinical geriatric psychiatry program at Columbia. My research so far has focused on understanding the relationships between age-related hearing loss (ARHL), late-life depression and cognitive decline. In February 2022, I plan to apply for a K23 career development award to pursue an academic career in geriatric psychiatry research.
