Biography & Research: 

My current research focus is on genetic, epigenetic alterations, brain cell type specific signaling mechanism in depression and suicide. Her research lab is involved in understanding the molecular and functional characterization of neurons and other cell types, signaling mechanisms related to psychiatric disorders such as major depression and suicide with special emphasis on gender based differences.
