Biography & Research:
She received a degree in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004 and continued her PhD in the Department of Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace, which she successfully accomplished it in 2012. She then carried out her postdoctoral research in the same department with funding from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). She is continuing her postdoctoral research in the field of stroke. At the same time, she has completed her training at the Systemic Institute of Thessaloniki. She has clinical experience as a psychologist and neuropsychologist and teaching experience as an academic scholar at the Democritus University of Thrace in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as a scientific associate at the ASPAITE faculty, as well as at the Scientific College of Greece. Her main research interest focuses on studies of neuropsychological functions in neurological diseases. She is a founding member of the Hellenic Alliance for Stroke and a national representative in the Stroke Alliance for Europe, as well as a member of the Hellenic Neuropsychological Society.
