Biography & Research:
Yaqiong Xiao, Ph.D., is a research scientist at the Shenzhen Institute of Neuroscience, China. She obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology with the focus in language development in young children and brain imaging from Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, Germany. She completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Maryland, College Park and University of California, San Diego. Her research interests include exploring early biomarkers of cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease using structural and functional MRI techniques and brain morphological changes related to cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease.
