Biography & Research: 

Dr Janet Sluggett is an Associate Professor in Pharmacy and Pharmacoepidemiology, Enterprise Fellow, and NHMRC Emerging Leadership 2 Fellow with the University of South Australia. Dr Sluggett is an Affiliate Post-doctoral Researcher at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and collaborates closely with the Registry of Senior Australians (ROSA). Dr Sluggett is a pharmacist and her research focuses on using ‘Big Data’ to maximise the benefits and reduce the risks relating to medicines use among older people receiving community and long-term care services. Dr Sluggett also conducts research to support new models of pharmacy practice in long-term care services.
